Position Summary

In order to perform to a world class standard there is a need to sense check and question our approach to maintenance to ensure that we are efficient in our application while reviewing our current processes while exploring new ways to decrease unplanned stoppages while increasing asset performance
As Maintenance Reliability Engineer / Process Engineer, youโll be at the heart of the Sudbury factory operations, ensuring our equipment perform at the levels expected of a world class company, whilst ensuring the safety of all those who use them, and exploring new ways to advance our maintenance procedures and approach to asset care.

A day in the life of a Maintenance Reliability Engineer / Process Engineer…
You will be part of the newly formed maintenance methods team, supporting and participating in the implementation and execution of the factory asset maintenance programme aimed to eliminate unplanned stops and optimise maintenance cost and as a result increase asset intensity.
Other key activities will include:
โขย ย ย ย Actively participate in maintenance routines to ensure that maintenance activities are scheduled and executed in time with high quality.
โขย ย ย ย Support and participate in the implementation maintenance methodologies to drive improvements. (PM pillar, foundations),
โขย ย ย ย Coach breakdown analysis process on priority basis agreed with method strategy.
โขย ย ย ย Coach and promote the quality and effectiveness of breakdown analysis.
โขย ย ย ย Provide input for annual maintenance budget for assets under your control.
โขย ย ย ย Assist with the reporting and tracking of the maintenance budget
โขย ย ย ย Be the link between production to engineering, by being an active member of local committee by execution projects.
โขย ย ย ย Build engineering capability in terms of competencies

We are also looking for:
โขย ย ย ย Experience within the technical maintenance field in a corresponding industry, ideally food ย ย ย production or other FMCG categories.
โขย ย ย ย A track record of delivering results with cross-functional teams.
โขย ย ย ย A Time served either apprentice or hold an undergraduate degree in a technical or scientific discipline or equivalent.
โขย ย ย ย Experience and knowledge of engineering design
โขย ย ย ย Experience in engineering reliability management and exposure to reliability centred maintenance i.e. CBM tools, predictive maintenance processes
โขย ย ย ย Good organisation and financial management skills.
โขย ย ย ย SAP knowledge and TPM methodology โ additional advantages.
โขย ย ย ย Experience working in multifunctional team (i.e. capital projects, DMAIC) preferred.
โขย ย ย ย Committed to ensure an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations, in relation to product quality, people or environment safety
