Hours: Alternating Shift 5.45/6.00am – 1.45/2.00pm Week 1 / 1.30/2.00pm – 9.30/10.00pm week 2 (Monday – Friday)

The company:

Our client is a well-established market leading engineering firm based in Radstock. They specialise in the manufacture of high end products to their international clients. We are seeking a qualified Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join their team in this permanent role.

The role:

The role will entail supporting the production facility, as the Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer. You will be assisting in the preventative maintenance, repair and upgrading of machines and equipment. You will carry out both electrical and mechanical maintenance on the machinery as well as attending to breakdowns on site as and when required. Other key duties include the installation of electrical components, machines and gadgets, troubleshooting and repairs on breakdowns and continuous maintenance on all equipment including fire and intruder alarms.

Duties:

• Assisting in the installation of new machines and equipment
• Updating all facility maintenance schedules
• Repairing all key equipment including CNC / PLC equipment & Powder coating equipment
• Seeking advice when required to ensure effective communication between departments at all times.
• Fault finding, testing and adjusting of products
• Install single phase / three phase electrical circuits
• Effective communication

The successful candidate must have necessary qualifications, preferrably include 17th or 18th Edition along with work experience within an Industrial manufacturing company.
