Multi-Skilled Operator / 1st Line Maintenance (Elec / Mech)

Our client, in the Merseyside area, require a Multi-Skilled Operator/Maintainer with either a mechanical or electrical qualification with FMCG experience or experience of working in a fast paced production environment.

The work involves working days and nights on 12.5 hour shifts. Pay rate for the role will be equivalent to £29,803per annum. Hourly rates of between £12.75per year PAYE or £15.42/hr Umbrella/Ltd are paid during the temporary to permanent period, which will last approximately 16 weeks, at which point you will assessed for a permanent role.

To be considered for the role you must have the following skills/experience;

-Engineering aptitude, either mechanical or electrical.
-NVQ Level 3 qualification or similar in mechanical/electrical qualification OR demonstrated experience of carrying out first line maintenance.
-GCSE in Maths & English at Grade C or above.
-Fast paced production environment experience.
-Continuous improvement knowledge.
-Tool change/setting experience beneficial.
