The role covers all aspects of engineering disciplines such as: electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, heat transfer and liquid transport.
Experience with PLC programming and fault finding is necessary, they have many types, Siemens, SMC, Allen Bradley, Bradley Coleman, Mitsubishi, Omron.
In addition to this, some form of Robotic experience is necessary, as again they have varied types with varied applications: pick and place, sprue pick, deflection, linear transport to name a few.
Some knowledge of plant equipment would also be beneficial, i.e. water pumps and chiller systems, we have a 60,000 litre closed loop chiller system and a 100,000 litre tower water system, these feed single 4 inch loops around the factory to 120 x qty 1 1/2 inch Flow and Return drops per system, to provide every machine with cooled and chilled water.
Our client is looking for candidates that are more electrical/electronic biased. A good fundamental electrical understanding and a recognised electronic qualification would really be beneficial.
