Job Description

We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic, adaptable and self-motivated void multi-skilled engineer to join our fast-paced and fast-growing team in an organisation that has been certified as a Great Place to Work. You will work on bringing void properties up to a high quality standard across homes in the North Marches area, including Kidderminster and Worcestershire (DY11 / WR5).

You will work without supervision and be provided a scope of work per property. Success in this autonomous role requires a strong multi-trade background across key areas, including:

  • Bathroom and kitchen fitting
  • Good carpentry
  • Plumbing
  • Patch plastering
  • Painting and decorating
  • Plastering and tiling
  • Full, clean driving licence

This is a chance to use your well-rounded technical skills and discipline to high standards as you take ownership of the end-to-end void process. If you have the capability to work independently and safely while producing high quality finishes, we want to hear from you.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience fitting kitchens and bathrooms, along with general repair and refurbishment works on domestic properties. Previous tenure working in a social housing environment or as a self-employed multi-trader would be advantageous.

This is a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, mobile role that will involve extensive travel. Due to the nature of the role a DBS will be completed for the successful candidate.
