Salary: £33,600 – £36,000 per year
About SMS
Environmental is a small but growing company delivering a range of Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning work. Our main business is Legionella Water Testing to a range of clients.
SMS Environmental has an immediate vacancy for a Multi Skilled Engineer with good mechanical services experience and qualifications to carry out a mixture of plumbing and gas work. This work is mainly on commercial premises so will require the appropriate Gas Safe registration. This role offers an interesting variety of work in a range of client locations.

The role:
– Carry out pre-planned gas maintenance work at client sites
– Trouble shoot/ problem solve mechanical issues on a range of equipment including gas boilers
– Carry out plumbing jobs including work on tanks and cylinders.
– Attending out of hours call outs and emergency jobs
Applicant requirements:
– Gas Safe registration – commercial
– Good Mechanical Engineering qualifications
– Good team working skills
– Good IT knowledge – jobs are issued to tablet computers
– Good Health and Safety understanding
– Clear driving license
– Clear DBS Disclosure – SMS will pay for a disclosure if required
