Multi-Skilled Engineer

Salary: £42,000 per year

A new opportunity is available for a Multi-skilled Engineer to join my clients well established and respected engineering business. They specialise in high value capital equipment which incorporates, electrical, mechanical components and equipment and are PLC operated. They are a family business who have supplied their machinery to both UK and overseas for over 30 years. Their ideal candidate will have a good level of electrical and mechanical fitting and wiring skills as well as experience of installation of complex machinery at customer sites.

Multi-Skilled Engineer role:
My client is looking for a suitable Multi-Skilled Engineer who will report the Engineering Manager and be workshop based with occasional trips to customer sites, UK and abroad when required for installation and commissiong of high value capital equipment. You will be responsible for wiring up various components and build, strip down, service, maintain and basic PLC fault find on my clients machinery.

Multi-Skilled Engineer requirement:
Educated to apprentice, NVQ or HNC level in a relavant electrical / mechanical discipline.
PLC fault find experience
Proven electrical and mechanical build and maintenance experience
Team player
Flexible when required to assist other engineers with projects
UK Driving license

Multi-Skilled Engineer package:
Salary up to £42,000
Discretionary bonuses paid depending on the individuals achievements
Overtime paid at basic rate and time and half
28 days holiday including bank holidays
