We are looking for a vibrant, self-starting Membership Manager to engage with and manage our clients global membership Academy, their fast-growing online magazine and membership club exploring the future of work and workplace.
Their corporate members include well known business brands, leading architectural firms and exciting tech start-ups.
The role will suit a bright, outgoing, commercially driven graduate with two/ three years of experience in account, membership or event management, media, PR or a related field.
You’ll be interested in workplace design, technology and culture and be keen to make your mark in a young entrepreneurial company based close to Kingston upon Thames which rewards initiative and achievement.
Responsibilities
• Build relationships with corporate members and global partners across our network
• Initiate new joint research and promotional projects with the membership base
• Identify and approach new prospects to subscribe to the Academy
• Manage the Academy financially and operationally with responsibility for the membership journey from contracting, invoicing and onboarding to renewal
• Work closely with the editorial team to manage and update the Academy’s online platform
• Be the day-to-day point of contact for all Academy members
• Plan events and innovation workshops with members
• Attend events nationally and internationally to grow the Academy community
Requirements
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Personable and friendly – service oriented
• A cool head under pressure
• Professional and confident in working with senior leaders
• Financially literate
• Great communication skills
• Daily use of Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, WordPress and other systems
