Salary: £26,000per year – increasing to £26,000 per year after successful completion of the 10 week probationary period.

Hours: Monday & Tuesday 8am – 6pm and Thursday: 1pm -6pm (23 hours per week)

They are a care provider to the local community; they are looking for a Medical Receptionist preferably with SystmOne experience working in a modern environment with excellent working conditions.

Please note that on being offered permanent employment after a successful 10 week probationary period a full DBS check will be required to be completed.

THE JOB:

As a Medical Receptionist working in a fast paced team environment, the main focus of the role will be first point of contact, face to face with all patients. Responsible for answering the telephone and directing calls, greeting visitors / patients and providing excellent customer service. Booking appointments over the phone and face to face. With previous experience or abilities, additional duties may also be required (training will be given if required in this area), these would include; Data Entry, Letters for hospital appointments and referrals using SystmOne and Medical Terminology. General administration would also be involved using the full MS Office Package, Word and Excel within the role. Filing, faxing and photocopying etc and any other ad hoc duties as required. Working in a professional manner and adhering to strict confidentiality procedures at all times.

BENEFITS & SALARY:

This is a temporary position based in Batley, West Yorkshire. The annual salary of for this position is £26,000per year for the first 10 weeks. After successful completion of the 10 week probationary period permanent employment will be offered with a pay increase to £26,000 per year.

The hours of work are; 23 hours per week between Monday & Tuesday:8am- 6pm with a 1 hour lunch break and Thursday 1pm – 6pm. Flexibility will also be required for holiday and sick cover.

CRITERIA:

You must have an excellent telephone manner also have excellent IT (Excel and Word) and word processing skills, pride yourself on the ability to communicate effectively and professionally and be able to manage your own time to meet deadlines. SystmOne experience is preffered but is not essential. You must be able to work at times in a pressurized and stressful environment. Be a team player, take and follow instruction. You will go through a full DBS Check if you are offered permanent employment at the end of your 10 week probationary period.
