Mechanical Fitters

This market leading Project Management business is looking for Mechanical Fitters for a specific project for an customer in the Automotive Company. Attracting a basic annual salary of £26,000 – £37,440per year for either days or nights shifts. Working from the customer site you will be responsible for relocating a variety of Machinery

THE JOB

Reporting to the Project Supervisor, you will be responsible for in the lifting, movement and building of various machinery.

Key deliverables:

Attending a customer site you will be involved in the movement and repositioning of machinery.

– You will be involved in the stripping down of various machinery
– Rebuilding and reinstalling the machinery in its new position
– Carrying out all work in a safe and professional manner
– Operating lifting equipment/ machinery

THE PERSON

– The successful Fitter will have strong mechanical knowledge of various Machinery
– You will also have experience in stripping down and installing machinery
– Ideally you will hold a time served engineering apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification
– Hold an up to date CSCS Card or equivalent
– Ideally hold a relevant safety certificate (EMSS, NSP, CCNSG, CITB, IOSH, NEBOSH, VCA, CMIOSH)
