Salary: £51,000 – £54,000 per year
Our client is a blue chip company based on the outskirts of Burton towards Uttoxeter. This highly successful company is looking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter to work within a professional maintenance team to maximise mine equipment reliability. This role is varied and will entail reacting to breakdowns, fault finding, carrying out root cause analysis and reporting data.
The shift pattern spans Monday to Friday and a 2 shift pattern or 3 shift pattern can be accommodated.
In order to carry out this role, candidates should have undertaken either a mechanical apprenticeship or motor vehicle apprenticeship and be able to demonstrate some competence working on diesel, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Experience working with heavy plant or motor vehicles would be very beneficial and good knowledge of continuous improvement projects would also be of interest.
