Mechanical Fitter

A global manufacturer involved in the production and design of material products used in a multitude of industries are looking for a mechanical fitter to aid in the maintenance of manufacturing machinery in the Croydon area.

The Role

The plant technician role requires you to provide maintenance support to the production facility, assessing the manufacturing machinery you will carry out PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) as well as reactive maintenance on compressors, pressure vessels and other machinery within the environment.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a background in maintenance of a manufacturing/production facility as well as having thorough knowledge of mechanical maintenance.

Experience of day to day maintenance and inspection of the entire site in an automation environment (Paper mills, Oil and Gas, Industrial)

A good working knowledge of the following is preferential.

– Mechanical Maintenance
– Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
– Reactive maintenance
– Pressure vessels, extrusion equipment, process machinery.
