Our client based on the outskirts of Guildford are looking to recruit a Mechanic / Fitter on a contract basis. Previous mechanical fitting experience is required as the Mechanic / Fitter will need to read drawings and drill holes, cut metal to length and assemble a variety of sub-assemblies. You will be required to fit a variety of items such as tow bars, overhead cranes, compressor units and cooling fans to fit on to vans and trucks.

Ideally the Mechanic / Fitter will have previously worked as a Mechanic / Mechanical Fitter or Plant Fitter.

This is likely to be a 3-6 month contract
