We are currently working with an education provider in Cambridgeshire who are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineering Trainer/Assessor to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be asked to join their Engineering education team, and will be tasked with travelling to workplaces in order to provide high quality support and training to Machining learners. You would also need to assess learners’ competence in line with appropriate industrial and qualification standards.

The starting salary for this position will be between £31,470 and £35,563 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience), which would also include a teacher’s pension, and a holiday allowance of 27 days (plus 8 days for Bank Holidays).

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-A level 3 Engineering qualification
-Good experience of machining
-An assessor award
