An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mechanical Engineer of proven ability to join the Marine and Energy team within a leading Engineering Consultancy due to rapid growth and promotion within the team, the company and the business sector.

My client is well established within the marine and energy consultancy markets and the successful Senior Mechanical Engineer will have an existing work load to include delivering key packages of work and contracts which are delivered to a diverse range of customers. This position has responsibility of 5-6 engineers and will see liaison with other senior discipline engineers within the business and with external clients. Exposure to either Marine systems or offshore technology is desirable but not essential as my client will consider suitable candidates from other heavy industries such as the rail and automotive fields and is thus a great opportunity to break into the marine and offshore industries.

This Senior Mechanical Engineer opportunity includes vessel design and arrangement along with the design and integration of specialist equipment and integration.

Any Senior Mechanical Engineer with broad proven ability spanning either the Marine and offshore market or with a suitable background in another heavy industry should.

The successful applicant must be eligible to work in the UK and have a strong command of the English Language and Technical English
