Mechanical Design Engineer with Creo CAD

Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year

A Mechanical Design Engineer with strong 3D CAD skills using Creo, practical working knowledge of thermal control, sealing techniques and various manufacturing processes, will join a respected Technical Consultancy working across a broad range of sectors from consumer and industrial to healthcare, automotive and security.

The Mechanical Design Engineer will bring:
• A Mechanical Engineering Degree or HNC/HND with good relevant experience.
• Strong 3D CAD skills using PTC Creo.
• Knowledge of thermal control using both passive and active methods.
• An understanding of sealing techniques against liquids and solids.
• Practical knowledge of mechanical strength, stress and strain and torque forces.
• Working with a diverse range of manufacturing processes from injection moulding to sheet metal fabrication and precision machining.
• An appreciation of RF, Analogue and Digital Layout considerations for mechanical design.
