Our client is a Leading Water Company with a presence across Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and Berkshire, they are currently looking to expand their Design team with appointment of a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will be qualified to a minimum of a degree or equivalent and be able to demonstrate training to a similar level, you will also be a Chartered Engineer or working towards Chatership, you will also have previous experience working on clean and waste water projects.

As the Senior Engineer you will be responsible for the technical delivery on a number of projects working under the direction from the Project Manager, in accordance with the set down by the Lead MEICA Engineer. As the Senior Mechanical Engineer your duties will include –

* Manager and Mentor Junior Engineers
* Production and checking of Technical reports
* Provide appropriate inputs for Programmes, Estimates and Contract Preparation
* Provide, advise and take responsibility for designs in line with specifications and most appropriate Health & Safety Legislation, with input from the Lead MEICA Engineer
* Construction Supervision of small projects
* Onsite Inspection in accordance with standards and specifications
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to contribute to successful project delivery

In summary to apply for this vacancy you will need to be a Degree Qualified Mechanical Engineer ideally working within the Clean or Waste Water Sectors, you will be chartered or working towards Chartered status.
