Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year
Our Client is involved in the development of cutting edge solutions for the management and distribution of Power in particular Wind and Solar captured power solutions to improve efficiency, distribution and reliability en-route to a carbon free future.
They now wish to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer to work with their R & D Team with experience of designing Mechanical components for Electrical devices taking the process from concept through to production. This will include requirement specifications, manufacture and assembly drawings, liaison with other R & D colleagues providing advice on all aspects of the Mechanical aspects involved with prototype and production products. You will need to have strong experience of using SOLIDWORKS modelling and simulation packages for 2D and 3D drawing. It would be also desirable if you have worked on Electrical machine or Transformer designs.
