M&E Estimator

Based near Preston the company are looking to recruit a Mechanical & Electrical Estimator. Our client are heavily involved in a number of areas covering all aspects of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. The company operate nationwide working in various sectors including Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Retail and Industrial.

Working with a number of high profile clients this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established growing company. The ideal candidate will have an objective and proactive approach to estimating, be customer-focused and develop long term relationships with stakeholders.

Role

To carry out the primary role of Electrical and Mechanical Estimator
To be responsible for all aspects of preparation of tender bid for Electrical services.
To provide support to Electrical manager on Cost control, programming, appointment of sub-contractors.
To provide design capability for all aspects Electrical Building Services.
To liaise with management regarding future planning of Electrical Projects
Knowledge and ability to operate AutoCAD draughting package would also be a distinct advantage.Key Skills & Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience estimating
Practical experience within a variety of sectors
Competent with Estimating
Problem solving ability with good decision making skills
Confident with excellent attention to detail
Excellent time management and organisational skills
