Job Title: Marketing Manager (UK) – Permanent
Location: Leeds
Salary: Up to £48,000dep on experience

Role Definition: Developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet agreed company objectives. Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data to develop and execute innovative brand marketing campaigns. Build brand awareness, elevate the brand and create desirability. Drive footfall to deliver the UK sales budgets.

Reports to: The UK Retail Director (with a dotted line to UAE based Marketing Manager).

Key Responsibilities: 

– Create an integrated Marketing Strategy for UK Retail business, Online, Wholesale and Projects which maximizes the brand`s potential to deliver footfall and drive sales
– Develop, and implement a comprehensive and innovative seasonal promotional plan, incorporating all Sale activity
– Ensure all in store and wholesale POS is designed and delivered on time to maximise sales opportunities for each promotion
– Effectively manage all external agencies and third parties
– Work with the Merchandise Managers to establish and manage appropriate product tactical and promotional activity
– Manage and control all aspects of the Marketing budget ensuring value for money and targeting spend to deliver maximum return on investment per campaign or promotion.
– Analyse and seek out opportunities to actively promote the brand through appropriate supplier partnerships
– Utilise CRM data and improve methodology to develop an effective Customer Relationship Management strategy that will build brand awareness and loyalty and drive sales.
– Produce monthly Marketing reports covering: footfall analysis, competitor activity, promotional sales performances, average spend, etc. to measure effectiveness of current campaigns.
– Create and provide all stores and sales reps with a local marketing tool kit and practical advice and support to deliver any local promotions and events 
– Liaise with the UAE based marketing team

Deliverables:

– Promotional activities, products and campaigns are selected to match consumer market trends. The expectations of our customers are consistently met and exceeded in terms of the brand 
– Ensure brand awareness campaigns or promotions achieve their targeted objectives (sales budget or agreed % sales uplift, market share etc.). 
– New opportunities are regularly sourced to promote the brand and footfall so that the brand receives maximum exposure in the right places 
– Retail, wholesale and project management and their teams are provided with all relevant promotional POS and campaign information which is easy apply & execute 
– Hit agreed KPI targets for average spend, footfall growth, website hits, sales and marketing spend ratio by campaign
