Marketing Manager

Salary: £26,000 per year

Selmach Machinery, based in Hereford, is an ambitious, growing company that supplies metalworking machinery to the fabrication industry. We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Manager to join our fantastic team that can cover the role of managing the marketing department to generate more leads.
This is a varied role as the Marketing Manager who is knowledgeable in areas of Digital Marketing including SEO, Organic Search, Content Writing, Brand Awareness, Design, and social media.
Responsibilities, Tasks & Duties:
* To generate more leads! – This is the main aim for the position. To coordinate the whole marketing spectrum in view of generating the maximum leads for our company.
* To grow the marketing department to ensure that Selmach is in line with the next phase of growth by hiring new talent to fit the business needs.
* To manage the company website, uploading of new content, products and product data.
* Working with external web developers on new developments.
* Management and maintenance of company blog to drive engagement
* Monitor SEO performance and produce regular reporting clear reporting to Directors.
* Set and manage effective strategies for Social Media Presence, digital content and SEO.
* Keep up to date with industry developments for SEO and content marketing.
* Come up with innovative and creative ideas for campaigns across digital channels.
* Create and execute copy for digital channels – website, Eshots, social media, etc.
* To take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs
* Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design.
* Proof-reading to produce accurate and high-quality work.
* Demonstrating illustrative skills and working on layouts ready for print.
* To grow Selmach’s core brands to ensure these become established in the metalworking industry
* To liaise with the UK Machinery Groups marketing departments to share best practice, ideas and cordinate on shared marketing events.
* To coordinate with external contractors for any aspects that may be required such as content writing.
* To coordinate new video ideas from concept to completion
Key Skills required:
* Solid experience in SEO and digital marketing, and the ability to work in a stand-alone role
* Solid knowledge of website analytics tools
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
* Passionate about design, SEO and internet marketing
* Self-motivated
* Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, web design
* Adaptive design eye and skill
The necessary IT equipment will be provided to make this role as seemless as possible. Holiday entitlement is 20 days per annum, plus statutory bank holidays. The candidate will need to leave at least 3 days for Christmas Shutdown each year.
Candidate must be able to demonstrate from previous experience clear knowledge and skill of marketing at previous employment or service engagements.
