Marketing Executive (high-tech laser technologies)
Basic salary £36,000+ annual bonus and private medical cover

An opportunity to help shape the future of a rapidly growing & innovative laser technology company with offices in UK, California, Europe and Japan, this role is responsible for all marketing and customer support functions at its head office in the Greater Manchester area. The successful candidate will have a scientific background with a proven interest and understanding of the photonics (or related) industries; a minimum of 3-5 years marketing experience; be able to work under pressure and to achieve deadlines; be self motivated and a team player; and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The role will involve:
– Daily management of Marketing Co-ordinator
– Implementation of £400k Marketing Budget
– Creative responsibility for design of website, marketing materials, advertisements, exhibition stands etc
– Lead generation & qualification
– Planning and arranging exhibitions worldwide
– Planning a range of marketing and advertising materials including in-house video production and whitepapers
– Maintenance of the company website
– Management of Youtube, Facebook & Twitter campaigns;
– Collection and analysis of market intelligence / competitor analysis
– Reporting to Sales and Marketing Manager
– Quarterly marketing report to Sales Director detailing ROI on marketing activities
