Marketing Assistant

My client is recruiting for a Marketing Assistant to join there Small but friendly marketing team in their head office based in Farnham.

The successful candidate would have a minimum of 12 months marketing experience and ideally within a B2C environment (retail preferred).

JOB PURPOSE

To provide administrative support to the marketing team.

To maintain and support marketing activity, files and systems.

Efficient administrative support for marketing team
Quality and quantity of social media posts, updates, etc

Point of sale development – capturing product (images using a piece of photography equipment and software (training provided)
Assist with content planning
Update company website with text and image content
Update company blog(s)
Update company social media platforms with text and image content
Assist with setting up online marketing campaigns (email)
Assist with other online marketing activities
Implement mailshots, social media and e-shots communicatorOFFLINE

Coordinate with branches and organise distribution of campaign material
Perform stock library image searches to support marketing campaigns
Administration of marketing intranet, update product imagery, content and maintain stock control
Maintenance of photographic library and design filing system
Assisting and organising local marketing/branch events
Organise and manage inventory for all marketing materials fulfilmentOTHER

To perform market research as required and keep the marketing database up-to-date
Contribute ideas for new campaigns and supporting literature

Marketing team meetingsQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

A-Levels or equivalent Diploma/NVQ in Marketing
or business-related degree (preferred but not essential)
Exceptional organisational and communication skills
Attention to detail
Excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling
A self-starter with creative flair
Project management skills, ability to deliver projects on budget and on time
Ability to undertake research
Highly motivated, driven and proactive team player
Social media experience and digital marketing experience – websites, SEO, Email campaigns, etc.
Fully computer literate, in particular Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel and Word
Practical PhotoShop, Illustrator and InDesign knowledge
Willingness to travel around branches as requested
Full UK Driving license and access to own vehicleEXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Minimum of 12 months marketing experience
Some marketing experience in B2C environment desirable
