Our client, a global FMCG manufacturing company are looking to recruit a Manufacturing training officer to join their organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity based within the Manufacturing section of the business. You will support the Manufacturing management team in all aspects of manufacturing training across the business.
Duties will include:
• Identify training and development needs through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular contact with departmental managers and Human Resources
• Writing and delivering all manufacturing training materials (manuals and SOP’s) for production workers
• Ensuring Continuous Improvement is instilled in all training processes
• Sourcing external training when appropriate
• Develop training programmes for production workers ensuring that budget constraints are met
• Write and develop new starter induction procedures
• Support the personnel appraisal activities from a training perspective
• Produce all training materials for in-house courses
• Ensure all training records for Production workers is kept up to date and is accurately reflective of training needs

This is a rare opportunity to join a highly successful Shropshire business and to be considered for the role you will need to be able to demonstrate experience of training of production workers within a manufacturing environment. You will need to demonstrate where you have developed training programs, and created and delivered training programs. Experience within the plastics manufacturing sector is preferred but not essential.
