Manufacturing Technician – Permanent

Our client is an expanding manufacturing business based in Wearside, who are looking to recruit a small number of Manufacturing Technicians on a permanent basis due to continued growth.

The role will involve the following:
Running a variety of production machinery following SOP’s and approved quality standards
Understanding and following a Production Schedule
To participate in training and ensure health & safety principles are adhered to at all times

Candidates must have the following experience:
Extensive manufacturing experience, ideally operating technical machinery
Worked within a lean manufacturing environment

The shift pattern is generally a double dayshift or 3 shift pattern, however candidates must be flexible to work continental patterns if required.

The starting salary is c£26,000increasing to c£20,000 after 6 months. Double day shift premium is paid at 15%, 3 shift premium at 25% and continental premium at 40%.
