Process Technicians (Manufacturing / Chemical Industry)

Process Technicians x 2 – manufacturing industry experience – interest and knowledge of the chemical industry – ISO 90001 systems based environment – based Harrogate, North Yorkshire – Salary: £26,000 – £28,800 per yearplus private medical and pension

We are looking for two Process Technicians with a good general interest and knowledge of the chemical industry along with some manufacturing industry experience.

Candidates for the positions of Process Technician (Chemical Industry) must have experience of working within an ISO 90001 systems based environment and strong organisational skills as well as good familiarity with standard computer packages such as MS Windows and MS Office

An analytical aptitude and excellent attention to detail and communication skills are required as is fluency in the English Language

Qualifications in Chemistry and allied industry experience are desirable, but not essential, as full training will be given to the successful Process Technician (Chemical Industry) candidates.

This role would suit someone who is not too heavily lab based and who has had experience of going into a factory to check the production process i.e. to oversee how our products are made and check that the correct process is being followed.

The role of the Process Technician (Chemical Industry) will be to provide essential support and assistance to a team working for a leader in the manufacture and supply of polymer repair composites and industrial protective coatings.

Day to day duties will include:

* The testing and Approval of incoming raw materials
* Supervising all aspects of the manufacturing process
* Performing in line testing of manufactured products
* Ensuring full records are maintained of all raw materials and products
* Reviewing current processes and making improvement suggestions
