Your experience in a manufacturing environment will play a crucial part in supporting the manufacturing cell to assemble, repair and modify products for a leading company in the aerospace controls industry. Using your background in production or manufacturing, you will work as part of a manufacturing team to ensure that aerospace products are assembled to required timescales.

About the Role:

The client requires a Manufacturing Technician to work as a team member within the Manufacturing Cell to assemble, repair and modify on nominated projects to meet the forecast weekly production, service, and development products. This job includes:
Assemble products using kits of parts.
To understand Drawings & Documentation.
To undertake Prototype Wiring.
To undertake Mechanical Assembly.
To use the computer to generate documentation.
Ensure that all documentation is completed and up-to-date.
Able to carry soldering to IPC 600 J standard 001.
Program PCBs and devices using programming loading documents
Pack and dispatch products as and when required.
To support and implement effective material workflow by pulling materials via KANBAN system to minimize inventory and achieve on-time delivery requirement.

About You:

To be suitable for the Manufacturing Technician job, you will need some previous experience in avionics repair or production and an ability to read assembly drawings and carry out mechanical assembly.
