Job Profile

As the successful Manual Machinist you will be working alongside a dedicated team of precision engineers and with extensive experience and knowledge.

Duties

• Produce precision parts using manual milling, lathes and grinders
• Manual Milling, Turning, Grinding and Boring
• Use gauges and measuring tools to meet tolerance requirements
• Work as a team to ensure quality and production targets are meet
• Producing components from engineering drawings
• Self-inspection

Skills & Experience

• Manual milling, turning, grinding and boring
• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong team player who can who work on their own when required
• Competent in the use of hand-held measuring equipment

Hours & Benefits

• 39 hours per week
• 07.30 – 16.30 Monday – Thursday, Friday 12.30 finish
• Hour rate between £38,400 – £48,000
• Overtime is available
• 25 days holiday
