to lead the small finance department. Reporting to The MD and working closely with the rest of the senior managers, at their new manufacturing site at Hellaby, the key tasks for the Management Accountant / Operations Accountant will include:

• Preparation of all managements accounts
• Reporting at monthly board meeting
• Run cash flow / bank / asset finance
• Oversee & mentor ledger clerk
• Integrate & synchronise ERP system into Sage accounts specifically purchasing
• Support all areas with costing and financial information Advising, training and challenging the operational team on budgets, forecasting and areas of improvement.
• Prepare forecasts and cash flows for grant applications etc.
• Produce weekly labour, stock & other ad-hoc reports.
• Carrying out labour costings & cap-ex appraisals.

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity you must:

• Be a qualified or soon to be qualified Accountant (Ideally CIMA)
• Be comfortable working with integrated IT systems with an understanding of a bespoke ERP system
• Possess excellent Excel skills with good organisational ability.
• Be a flexible, team player, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Have the ability to explain financial information to non-financial colleagues and be comfortable working in both an office and factory environment
