Management Accountant

Salary: £45,600 – £51,600 per year

Anderson Knight is recruiting a Management Accountant for a client based in the Glasgow area. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will assist with the month end consolidation process and support group projects including aligning overall systems.

This role will develop over time and is an ideal opportunity for an individual to grow and develop. Given the growth projection of the business, this would suit a career minded ambitious individual.

* Prepare monthly management accounts

* Provide business partnering support to the operations team

* Profit & Loss trend and variance analysis to budget and forecast

* Preparation of various balance sheet reconciliations with all balances fully investigated and reconciled

* Support group wide projects

* Complete quarterly VAT returns and submit to HMRC or pass for inclusion in Group VAT return.

* Support budget and forecasting process

* Any other ad-hoc duties

To be considered for the Management Accountant position you must possess the following:

* An accountancy qualification (CIMA/CA/ACCA)

* Strong communication skills

* A proactive approach to work

* The ability to solve complex problems

* An outgoing personality

* A driven/motivated individual
