Management Accountant

Salary: £26,000 per year

Coinford is a groundworks and concrete frame specialist that delivers contracts ranging from £1million to £50million throughout London and the South East of England. This role works out of our Head office, Redeham Hall.

Role Purpose/Objective:

To provide management & financial reports and support to the Management Accounts team and the Finance Controller (FC).

Key Responsibilities:

To own the P&Ls and Balance Sheets of £100m+ turnover Construction group as well as smaller investment entities. This includes but is not exclusive to:

• Intercompany recharges of build, overhead and payroll related costs.
• Review of schedules: bank direct debits & standing orders, finance leases and the Sales Day Book.
• Monthly Accruals: including GRNI, payroll & IT related, and CITB.
• Cost reporting: preparation, monitoring and posting of CVR’s.
• VAT returns for various entities including VAT Groups.
• Production of monthly MI packs for review by FC.
• Monthly report packs for senior management and the Board.

The role will also have various ad hoc duties to support directors, management, and other relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Experience/skills required:

• Management accounting experience essential
• Industry experience a plus but not essential
• Strong IT skills, ideally intermediate or advanced Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Excel
• Team player required to work within a well-established company
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with various internal and external parties

Qualifications:

• 5 GCSE’s, or equivalent, including Maths and English
• A Levels, or equivalent, in a relevant subject desired but not essential
• Qualified CIMA/ACCA (final stage part qualified is acceptable with the right fit)
