Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Management Accountant based in Basingstoke. This is a temporary two year contract, working full time hours. This position will require a mix of home working and office based, so for this reason we are only considering candidates within a commutable distance.

In this role you will be required to provide a comprehensive management accounting service to Portfolio Holders, Corporate Directors, Heads of Service and Budget managers. This will include financial advice, consultation, annual reviews, capital estimates, and final accounts. You will also be required to undertake budget monitoring and provide assistance with detailed budgetary control.

You will support an Executive Director, Head of Service and Directorate Management Team with;
* Producing financial management information, forecasting and budgeting;
* The whole financial cycle including year-end and budget setting
* Delivering savings and income targets; and
* Ensuring compliance with financial regulations

We are looking for someone with a wealth of management accounting experience. Public Sector experience would also be preferred. We are looking for a candidate with a relevant qualification also.
