We require an experienced Management Account to join one of our most prestigious clients.
Salary: £31,200 – £42,000dependent on experience
Hours worked: 8:30am – 17:00pm Monday to Friday
About The Company:
My client is one of the largest vehicle recycling businesses in the UK, following a successful merger in 2019 of four industry leading organisations. They are currently experiencing significant growth and have plans to further grow their market share and really make a difference in their markets.
Overall Purpose of Role:
An exciting and new opportunity within the Finance Team, based in Doncaster. We are recruiting a Management Accountant; passionate about transformation, confident, able to work collaboratively and help streamline ways of working to support the needs of the business.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in Finance; responsible for production of the management accounts, balance sheet control and supporting the Financial Controller with statutory accounts, consolidation, and transformation projects.
You will be instrumental to the success of the finance team. We are looking for a highly adaptable, results oriented and solution focused individual. This is a new role in an ever changing, fast paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Ownership of the balance sheet, including preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
* Owner of the cashflow forecast and related reporting
* Support the Financial Controller with the Finance Transformation projects
* Preparation of any ad-hoc requests from Senior Management
* Preparation of statutory accounts
* Compliance with legal and statutory requirements (incl. VAT returns)
* Line manager to a trainee accountant
About You:
* Part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA – final year preferable and will also consider newly qualified)
* Experience of large businesses with fast-paced environment an advantage
* Highly analytical with attention to detail
* Excellent IT skills, including ME excel, and evidence of embracing technology to improve performance & deliver growth
* Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at senior level
