Male SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £26,000 – £28,080 per year

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis in a special school in Lambeth, South East London.

Due to the nature of the role, we have been asked to recruit for a Male Teaching Assistant as you will be working with an autistic child who responds better to males. The suitable candidate will need to have strong behaviour management, a good awareness of working with pupils with Autism (ASD) and preferably experience working in a SEN setting.

You would be partnered with an experienced Teacher and would be working in a KS2 class working to a Primary Curriculum. Candidates with Secondary experience will also be considered.

This is a full time position starting ASAP. Team Teach training is a desired skill but not essential. This can also be a qualification that could be completed, whilst placed at this school.

Times: Monday – Friday 8.30 until 15:30
