Engineering Supervisor

The role of Supervisor will see you overseeing a small team of engineers covering a 4 on / 3 off day shift pattern. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all plant, equipment, machinery and services on site in order to ensure Production needs are met in the most efficient manner. This is very much a ‘hands on’ position.

Key responsibilities will see you liaise effectively and promptly with Production Management re;
1)Status of Breakdowns
2)Planning of urgent remedial work
3)Planning weekend work
4)Ongoing machine performance.

The Person
This role would suit an apprentice trained engineer and who holds relevant engineering qualifications. Experience in leading a technical team within an engineering manufacturing environment. A good appreciation of electrical systems / installations and equally a good mechanical knowledge as well as installation experience.

If you have worked with PPM systems, have PLC knowledge, have come from an FMCG process environment this would be ideal. The role offers a salary of 30K + 32 days holiday based on working a 39 hour week.
