Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £49.2 per hour

SHIFT PATTERN: (Panama Shift Pattern – no nights)

COMPANY INFORMATION: Our client is one of the leading Manufacturers based in the Humber region, they have over 60 manufacturing facilities worldwide and have a number of supplier’s contracts in place with major blue-chip companies.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• Electrical or Mechanical qualification either apprentice trained, HNC or HND
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
• Have the ability to work on their own and as part of a team
• Previous experience working with robotics and PLC systems would be advantageous.

ROLE INFORMATION: The role will be a diverse mix of electrical and mechanical work including maintaining existing machinery, reacting to breakdowns, carrying out pre planned maintenance and working on projects. The site is highly automated and very fast paced. The successful applicant will be responsible for working as part of a team to ensure the factory can maintain production levels and ensure minimum downtime on production lines.
