Mail Sorter / Production Operator – Bristol – £19,845 plus O/T

My client is one of the fastest growing and innovative document consultancies in the UK. They are currently looking to recruit a full time mail sorter / document sorter for their modern site based at their Bristol operation, Cribbs Causeway, less than 1 mile from junction 17 of the M5.

successful sorter will be working Monday – Friday 1pm- 10pm (40 hours per week) with 1 hour breaks. This role does offer the right candidate the opportunity to work for a growing and innovative company

The successful candidate will be working as part of small and friendly team in a fully air conditioned environment. The role will involve sorting letters to be sent for mailing and as such you will be on your feet for some time and will be wearing headsets with built in radios. You will undertake a variety of tasks within the role

The successful candidate MUST have:

– A good standard of verbal communication, literacy and numeracy
– A team ethic with a can-do attitude
– A logical approach
– Able to work on your feet for the whole shift
– The self-confidence and ability to recognise issues and escalate if required
– Able to work on your own
– The ability to carry out your duties at a brisk, controlled pace whilst maintaining accuracy
– The ability to maintain extended periods of concentration
– Experience of having worked in a fast paced environment

A mail sorter, mail, print experience background would be helpful though not essential.
