Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year
Our client is a very well-established global supplier to the automotive industry, with a presence in 30 countries with employees of around 100,000 worldwide.
Their UK Head Office is based in Newcastle under Lyme where they are currently seeking a Logistics Planner to co-ordinate logistics activities for customers.
Main duties
- Designing and Creating logistic concepts including inbound, outbound, packaging, customs etc.)
- Calculating logistics costs eg freight costs, packaging costs, and negotiating with customer accordingly
- Follow/update logistics costs customer projects
- Contribute to negotiations of logistics agreements with customers and suppliers
Requirements
- Supply Chain /logistics experience
- of supply chain planning
- Strong IT skills including Excel
- Excellent communication abilities
