German Speaking Purchasing Assistant (Logistics)

My client, an established international food retailer with over 600 stores in the UK alone, is currently recruiting for a German Speaking Purchasing Assistant to join their busy team at their Head Office in Wimbledon on a permanent basis.

Duties:

With vigilance and pro-activity you will maintain regular contact with their Regional Distribution Centres and suppliers to keep the process running smoothly, showing a calm, mature approach as you interact firmly but diplomatically with different personalities at all levels in all regions.
You will soon share the team’s passion for exceptional quality in every aspect of the business and take pride in exceeding expectations.
Invoicing, updating and maintaining reports, spreadsheets and pricing information, you will support various projects and use the Company’s product information database.
This is a challenging high volume purchasing role based in the logistics team.Person Specification:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will already possesses solid experience within a logistics administration position. You will be well organised, be able to work to strict deadlines and demonstrate the ability to multi-task on a daily basis. You will be numerate with a keen eye for detail and be able to prioritise your busy schedule.
