Logistics Controller

Salary: £42,000 per year

Location: Daventry

Salary: £35,000 + benefits

Summary:

Our client is a major 3PL organisation with an outstanding reputation for delivering the highest standards of customer satisfaction to some of the most demanding customers in the market.

They currently have a really interesting opportunity for a Logistics Controller who will have full responsibility logistics management of one of their flagship accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact with the customer for all logistics queries.

• Own responsibility for dealing with all external carriers and managing their transportation performance.

• Carry out the booking coordination for direct loads sent out.

• Track, monitor and update load information and report on all any shipping requirements and changes.

• Analyse and report on all aspects of customer freight and carrier performance.

• Stay on top of live status of all bookings.

• Propose and implement solutions for carrier related issues.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Data driven with excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Continuous improvement experience.

• Practical project management and advanced excel skills.

• Ecommerce operational experience.

• Preferably exposure to a 3PL environment.
