Lme Operations – Work From Home

Salary: £60,000 per year

On behalf of our client, a small trading company, we are urgently looking for a LME Operations person to join their team.

The candidate should have minimum 3 years’ experience working in back-office roles at a clearing bank, hedge fund or similar institution where they were dealing with metal commodity derivative futures and options contracts.

This role requires a fundamental understanding of exchange structure and processes, including matching and clearing, contract specifications, settlement procedure, margining, valuation and expiry processes

Skills and knowledge:

 3+ years’ experience working in a back-office commodity role.

Good product knowledge of listed commodities and options

Clearing experience with at least one commodity exchange

Reconciliations – the candidate should have good attention to detail.

Good excel knowledge. VBA not required but preferred.
