Salary: £26,000 – £31,200 per year

My client is committed to being at the forefront of Road Traffic Accident Claims and leading the way in dealing with the new Whiplash Reforms being implemented on 31st May.
Their continued growth means that we are looking to increase their RTA Litigation Team with someone who has not just the experience but has a real proactive and positive approach to their work, their clients and their colleagues.
Someone with a dynamic approach with flair and aspirations to develop their career.
You will need at least 3 years experience handling a volume claimaint RTA Litigation caseload and running a predominantly fast track litigated caseload and cases involving allegations of LVI fraud and the MIB.
You will be a clear and concise communicator.
You will have a warm, approachable, friendly manner and enjoy talking to people from all walks of life.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
Risks assessing claims and providing clients with appropriate legal advice.
Drafting legal documents and conducting all elements of litigation involved in progressing a case to Trial.
Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.

Day to day you will be:
Assuming conduct of RTA portal drop out cases
· Risk assessing cases for litigation
· Investigating liability and assessing quantum of claim
· Thorough investigation and risk assessment of new claims
· Drafting and issuing of legal proceedings
· Conduct of litigation to fast track trial
· Providing effective and considered legal advice
· Conducting legal research where necessary
· Effectively negotiating with opposing representatives on all matters to achieve the best possible outcome.
· Advocating for the client in Case Management and Application Hearings.
· Implementing and enforcing any agreement reached, including costs.
· Ensure daily that DPA, GDPR, SRA and ISO27001 requirements and standards are met and maintained in line with said policies and procedures
· To manage appropriately and breaches in line with company, regulatory, legislative requirements involving appropriate stakeholders where necessary
You will bring to the role experience and skills such as:
Familiar with the changes implemented post 01.04.13 and be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of CPR
Knowledge of the MOJ portal and pre-action protocol
Excellent communication skills both written, and oral are essential
The ability to build relationships
The ability to engage with both prospective and existing clients
Strong IT skills
