9748 – Lease Analyst & Transaction Lead

The successful applicant must be able to speak French to a minimum of business level.

You can be based at any Veolia office across England or France with a mix between home and office working.
Salary to £60000 with annual bonus and outstanding benefits – equivalent if based in France.
The Lease Analyst supports and contributes to the overall success of the Commercial Real Estate team by providing a first class lease analyst, lease administration and lease accounting services.

 

You  will play an integral role within the Real Estate team in a global matrix organisation.

You’ll be working on developing a real estate database from paper leases, deeds, and other documents, and will manage a number of facility lease transactions from approval to fully executing the lease.

Working with Team Members, you will partner with your Broker to negotiate terms for new sites, as well as liaising directly with current landlords to negotiate renewal of leases.

 

Our properties are global – and you will be managing commercial properties, as well as Industrial properties, Laboratories, and storage locations.

 

To be a success in this role, you will need to be an Excel Guru! Our Sequentra Lease Administration software keeps everything in one place for a seamless property management experience. From here, you will extract data into an Excel format and create pivot tables and waterfalls, using this data to provide reports and analysis.
 

What are the day to day duties?

  • Managing a commercial lease transaction
  • Partnering with Veolia Regional leaders to understand true facility requirements
  • Partnering with brokers to find a site and negotiate the lease
  • Gaining lease approval from the leadership team
  • Post lease execution, helping the site leader and general contractor to manage the project
  • Work on site design, fit-out, purchase services, office furniture procurement,  and relocation of the employees where necessary .
  • Provide a thorough Lease Administrator service
  • Abstraction and review of lease contracts and other real estate documents.
  • Updating and maintaining the lease databases
  • Creating reports
  • Lead projects status meetings with cross functional teams

 

What skills will you have?

  • Exceptionally strong Excel and Office skills
  • Proven record of understanding and executing real estate transactions.
  • Experience with property transaction negotiations.
  • Excellent oral written communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Lease review and abstraction experience.
  • Lease database experience, we use Sequentra currently
  • Ability to work independently and initiate projects
  • Someone who can coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-function, global environment
  • Bachelor Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business or Accounting
  • French to a minimum of Business Level
