Salary: £26,000 per year
Dedicate Recruitment is working in partnership with this secondary Academy for a number of LSA positions. The school is seeking candidates with positive experiences of education and can support students who have moderate additional needs.
Supporting these students, you will need to set clear boundaries, provide lots of positive reinforcement, be patient and understanding. School visits are encouraged.
The school welcomes candidates with established experience or recent graduates who are interested in exploring a career in education. Hours of work are 8.00am – 3.00pm.
Skills & Experience
* GCSEs in English and Maths or level 2 equivalent
* NVQ L2/3 Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools
* Recent graduates
* Experienced in supporting students with Moderate Learning Difficulties- including ASD, ADHD, EBD and dyslexia
* A valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
* Excellent punctuality and consistency
