Lead Network Engineer – Cisco

Lead Network Engineer – Cisco, CCNP, Routers, Switches, Security, Firewalls, Telephony, Design & Support – Bournemouth – Taking a lead role on projects and assisting network design teams as well as mentoring and escalated support for a large organisation.

This is a really interesting opportunity to work with a company undergoing a lot of change at the moment with lots of current projects and an interesting road map that will keep day to day duties varied and challenging. With a fundamental understanding of managing, supporting and designing network technologies including Routing, Switching, Security and Telephony you have the opportunity to take a lead role in projects as well as mentoring a close knit team.

Ideal applicants will be Cisco Certified to CCNP level and have a broad experience across most of the following –
* Firewalls and Network Security
* Large / Enterprise scale LAN / WAN environments
* Network Analysis and Design
* Project experience – design and analysis

Also desirable would be any experience of the following –
* Working in an ITIL environment
* Proxy Servers – ISA, Bluecoat
* Cisco Telephony / VOIP – Call Manager / CUCM
* Nokia devices
* Juniper devices
* Checkpoint devices

In return a salary of up to £54,000 is on offer with a good flexible benefits scheme including pension and optional healthcare.
