Salary: £7,200 – £9,600 per month
Our client is looking for a Lead Hadoop Data Engineer to join their in house team within a growing and successful organisation. You will be given flexibility in terms of location of work and home working.
Within this role, you will be interacting with the Data science teams to identify new data needs and work alongside other parts of the business to lead a data function that will provide solutions. You will design solutions for data ingestion as well as solutions for data structuring and analytics jobs. Helping in the development and providing mentorship to junior team members.
Experience:
* Extensive experience working as a data engineer
* Experience within using Hadoop platform with deep expertise in Hadoop components for example Hive and Spark
* Have experience of being the lead engineer for complex data projects
* You will need to be able to deliver high quality solutions to problems that are maintainable.
