London – £80,000-£100,000 p/a

People Source Consulting are currently seeking a passionate, competent Lead Frontend Web Developer / Javascript Developer to take on a full time permanent position with a central London based Media Giant.

Our client runs one of the World’s largest online Media platforms hosting 1000+ articles from across the Globe, daily.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional Senior Javascript Engineer / Frontend Engineer to join a globally recognised brand working on a top of the line multi- media platform.

Experience working for a company / website of this size and reputation will be invaluable to the CV of any Lead Javascript Developer / Frontend Developer who secures this position.

This is an opportunity to take a Senior seat within a Dynamic, Progressive team of Developers at the top of their game.

There is also a lot of freedom given to programmers in this team to find best fit solutions within Javascript libraries. Environment is pure Agile and TDD.

The client are looking for Senior Frontend Developers / Web Developers with experience in Javascript, HTML5 and CSS3 and then any related technology – they are moving their development to NodeJS and Clojure so any experience in these tools is desirable.

To be considered for this role you will need to be exceptional with:

NodeJS

JavaScript:
– Client-side /DOM APIs
JavaScript frameworks
* HTML(5), CSS etc.

Knowledge of ElasticSearch, Redis, SQL, MySQL, Oracle is advantageous and experience with Clojure is highly advantageous.

Agile / TDD mentality is a must
