Salary: £54,000 – £72,000 per year
My client are seeking a Lead Embedded Software Engineer based in Cambridge to design and manufacture a range of complex robotic based electronic products for demanding sectors such as defence, security, energy and transport. Outstanding jobs like this don’t come around often!
As a Lead Embedded Software Engineer you will be responsible for designing embedded software for a range of complex robotic electronics based products. You will also be involved in researching and prototyping new technologies and methods to improve customer workflows.
The ideal candidate for the Lead Embedded Software Engineer role will have:
– Excellent embedded C programming skills
– Experience developing software for embedded real time systems in C/C++, RTOS’s
– Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or similar
As well as the above skills and experienced you will have 5 or more years professional software experience working in a multi-discipline development environment. The Lead Embedded Software Engineer should have lots of drive and enthusiasm as they will play a massive role in the software engineering team.
