Lead Document Controller

An opportunity has arisen for a Lead Document Controller within the Energy sector of Lockheed Martin, based at our office in Aberdeen.

The successful individual will be responsible for:

– Supervising and Managing a Team of Senior Document Controllers, Document Controllers and Junior Document Controllers.
– Managing workloads efficiently to meet Customer Service Level Agreements.
– Allocating cover when required
– Providing support for Document Control Department process development, team training & performance monitoring
– Overseeing the quality and accuracy of the Operational documentation required to maintain the business license to operate
– Managing use of Customer processes and systems that enable effective onshore documentation retrieval and search support for onshore and offshore staff
– Supporting and deputising the SDM and Reporting progress of the service and/or issues

To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate experience in the following:

– Excellent Mentoring, Organisational, Presentational and Communication Skills
– Previous experience in Managing People, Development and Training
– A minimum of 12 years’ experience within Document Control and Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Lead Document Controllers/Supervisory role
