The Vacancy

The Barnet Group is currently seeking to recruit a Labourer / Driver to work directly within the Barnet Homes DLO Repairs Service. You will be undertaking the following duties:

• Load / Off Load, collect and deliver materials tools and equipment to operatives working in the field
• Work and support trade operatives when required
• Collect and drop off supplies as dictated by the supervisor
• Collect old materials when required to take to waste
• Deliver water or any essential equipment to site or to dedicated storage facilities
• Updating jobs on the electronic PDA system, including appropriate and legible notes, updates on job status’s and photographs

We are looking for someone who has the following skills and attributes:

• 5 years experience of working in a driving role
• Previous experience of working within a repairs and maintenance environment (desirable)
• Experience driving a larger vehicle
• Full UK clean Driving License
• Prior use of a PDA system, including updating jobs with notes, photographs and outcomes
